Jammu, June 1: Continuing his campaign to press for CBI enquiry into the Rassana rape and murder case, former Forest Minister and senior BJP leader Choudhary Lal Singh on Friday addressed a public gathering at Sawan Chack, Kathua. The rally was organised by Ujjagar Singh Kitta and Harmohinder Singh in which large numbers of youth including women take part. While addressing the gathering, Singh said that "it is the duty of every person of the Jammu specially for Dogras to raise voice and fight for CBI probe into the Rassana incident." Former vice-president Municipal Corporation Kathua, Mohinder Singh, and prominent citizens of Sawan Chack extended full support to Lal Singh in his demand for CBI enquiry into the Rasana case. They assured Singh that the people of Kathua city are with him for this noble cause. They raised slogans in the support of Lal Singh, saying, "Choudhary Sahib aagay badoo, hum aapke saath hain." Among others present in the were Joginder Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Suram Singh, Billa Sharma, Harpreet Singh Isher, Neeraj Kumar and Vinod Sharma. |
