JAMMU, June 1: Ambedkar Club observed the 48th Shaheedi Divas of martyr Bhagat Amarnath in a function held here today at Ambedkar School, Kabirnagar, Talab Tillo. The programme started with the emotional welcome address by few members of Ambedkar Club and a silence of two minutes followed by the floral tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath.
On this occasion, various speakers expressed their views on the life history and contribution of Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath, who throughout his life worked for the rights of downtrodden, poor, dalits and backward people.
Prominent speakers were Dr Rajesh Bhagat, Dr Manmeet K Motton, Dr Mohan K Atri, Ankush Hans, Dr Jaswant Singh, Om Prakash, C R Bhagat and Sanjay Bhagat. |
