 Jammu, June 1: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, Samba substation observed Swachhta Pakhwada. Lot of activities were carried out that included cleanliness drives, lecture competitions in various schools, distribution of dust bins for waste collection, Debate competition , Health check-up camps etc. On the concluding day today a debate competition was organized for the employees of the substation on the topic " India … A defecation free country by 2020 is a possibility". Employees of the Substation participated in the debate competition enthusiastically and spoke their heart out. Davender Kumar, Neeraj Bakshi , Rajesh Kumar and P.D. Singh received first, second, third and consolation prizes. Ramesh Kumar Chief Manager(I/C) was the chief guest on this occasion. He distributed the prizes among the winners and appreciated the efforts of POWERGRID in realizing the dream of our honorable Prime minister of a Clean and healthy India. |
