Kalakote, June 1: A two-week long workshop on enhancing different skill-sets was successfully organized at GDC Kalakote. Speaking on the inauguration of the workshop, Dr Sushma Mahajan, Principal GDC Kalakote, stated "the workshop would act as a platform for the students to get an extensive training on various skills across the spectrum essential for aholistic development required in today's fast-paced world." The workshop began with a session on Poster Making, by Asst. Prof Sachin Kumar Bhagat where students were taught various techniques for making an effective poster. With Dr Stanzin Namgail as the resource person, the students were introduced to various concepts of different cameras, compositions, views, frames, rule of third, etc. The Three Days Workshop on Smart Learning i.e. from 28th to 30th May, 2018 was out sourced by the Institution. The resource persons Prof. Sankait Gupta from GDC Rajouri and Prof. Bharat Mahajan from GDC Jammu City Ploura, Jammu taught the basics of computer application such as MS-Word, MS-Power point, Power Point, and internet basics in live in class room environment. The sessional break camp was concluded with valedictory function on 30th May at 2:30 noon wherein the certificates were given to the participants as well as to the Resource persons.
