ABVP criticizes Govt for not releasing salary of ReTs | | | Early Times Report Doda, June 8: Akhil Bhartyia Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Doda has criticized the State Government for its alleged failure to release timely salaries of the teaching staff working in educational institutions under Centrally Sponsored Schemes like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA). Expressing displeasure over the non serious approach of the state government for not releasing monthly salaries of the Rehbar-e-Talem Teachers on time, Rajeshwar Singh ABVP J&K State Joint Secretary today made an appeal to the Union Government and J&K Education department to make advance arrangement of funds for their salaries so that thousands of ReT teachers don't suffer. He said that ReT teachers are backbone of school education in the state especially in the rural and remote areas. Highlighting the distress of families of RET teachers , Rajeshwar Singh said that they are underpaid and their families suffer economically and face humiliation. In these days of high inflation how a family can survive on such a manger amount, he questioned. He said that often there are complaints from ReT teachers that they are not given monthly salaries on time due to non availability of funds that arises owing negligence on part of government . |
