Jammu, June 8: Model Academy the prestigious school of MIER in collaboration with Model Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an 'I-survive' Adventure Camp at the most pristine and picturesque location, Patnitop for its students. The objective is to take students out of their comfort zones and to develop team spirit, life skills and to cultivate essential survival skills among the\ learners under the most difficult and tough situations. It also allows students to appreciate their environment and natural surroundings. The camp was equipped with modern tents and all basic amenities in the heart of nature with good food, facilities giving the participants a unique outdoor experience. Packed in a fun format, the camp delivered very important learning through elaborate debriefing exercises by expert trainers. Around 60 children along with four faculty members attended the two day camp. A lot of adventurous fun filled activities were organized for the students which included Nuptial knot, Magic carpet, Trust fall, Flying fox, Commando Wrapling, Cross wine, Monkey crawl, Double Rope Bridge, and trekking at the height of 10,000 feet. The camp came to an end with a bon-fire in the evening wherein children show cased their creative talents.
