Erring traders fined at Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, June 8: A joint enforcement team today charged Rs 3800 fine from erring traders during market inspection conducted here today. The inspection team led by Tehsildar Masood Ahmed and comprising of officials of Municipal committee, FCS&CA and Police carried out joint market checking to check black marketing, over charging, non-display of approved rate lists, using of banned polythene carry bags in the town. The team destroyed around one quintal rotten vegetables, fruits and other perishable and unhygienic items and also realised a fine or Rs 3800 from the traders for violation of market regulation rules. The Market checking squad also carry bags and destroyed 4 kg of polythene carry bags on spot. The shopkeepers were directed to display the approved rate lists in their shops, keep their establishments neat and clean, sellers were asked to cover mutton and chicken otherwise stern action will be initiated against them. Similar market inspection and anti-polythene drive was launched in other parts of tehsil Bhaderwah where the market checking squad seized and destroyed 8kg banned polythene carry bags and realised a fine of Rs 4100 from the erring traders. |
