Jammu, June 17: The members of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice, have strongly condemned the killing of Sr. Journalist from Kashmir, Syed Shujaat Bukhari, his two PSOs & an Army Jawan Aurangzeb from Poonch. They alleged that ceasefire decision of the government has proved a big mistake. They termed the ceasefire in Kashmir during the month of Ramzan despite opposition by top Military Commanders, heads of security and Intelligence agencies of the country as a big mistake on the part of centre government. They said on the recommendation of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, the BJP government at the centre ordered ceasefire and also gave amnesty to stone pelters. The militants groups got opportunity of re-grouping and extending their activities during the ceasefire period in Kashmir. They describe the attack on of Sr. Journalist from Kashmir, Syed Shujaat Bukhari, his two PSOs and kidnapping of an Army Jawan Aurangzeb from Shopian and his killing besides sudden rise in the attacks on security forces in Kashmir, as a result of big blunder committed by the centre Government by ordering unilateral ceasefire. The Central government should immediately revoke its earlier order for suspension of anti-terrorist operation in the wake of cold-blooded killing of vetern journalist Shujaat Bukhari & army rifleman Aurangzeb. |
