Jammu, June 17: Joint Action Committee (General Category) and JKGCWF has called for state wide protest against the decision of Union government for reservation in promotion. According to press release, a meeting was held at Poonch under the Salim Bandey Convenot JAC and Farooq. Salim Bandey informed the gathering about the threat to Article 370 as Central government has issued a totally unacceptable circular asking the states to implement reservation in promotion. Central government has forgot that Article 16(4) has not been extended to state of Jammu and Kashmir and the pressure tactics adopted by certain reserved category MLAs has maligned the sanctity and respect of the chair held by them, as well as disrespected the sovereignty of Constitution of Jammu and Kashmir |
