MENDHAR, June 25: The Army organized an ex-servicemen rally and medical Camp at Baloni area of Mendhar Sub Divsion today. The rally was attended by ex-servicemen, `Veer Naris', war veterans, widows and children hailing from Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district. Inaugurated by Commander, Krishna Ghati Brigade, the rally aimed at expressing solidarity with veterans and 'Veer Naaris' and to assist them in mitigating issues related to pension, healthcare and re-employment. A detailed presentation was organized to inform the veterans about their entitlements and various welfare schemes being extended by Central and State Govts for the welfare of the veterans and their families. Stalls were set up at the venue with an aim to resolve pension and service entitlement related issues. |
