HM Rajnath endorsed pernicious agenda of alliance
Mehbooba makes a startling revelation

Early Times Report

JAMMU, June 25: The collapse of the "unholy" PDP-BJP alliance on June 19 was a boon for the nation and a good riddance. Its very formation was mind-boggling, intriguing and against the very cardinal principles of democracy in the sense that both murdered the mandate to stitch an alliance. The PDP had got the mandate from Kashmir and the BJP from Jammu. Both contested the elections on mutually exclusive poll planks.
However, PDP was the gainer and the BJP was a loser. The BJP was a loser because it got nothing in lieu of what it offered to the PDP on a platter, including the coveted office of CM for all the six years. The BJP was also a loser because it lost its face the day it shook hands with the PDP and the new CM Mufti Sayeed caused an affront to the nation in the presence of PM Narendra Modi by declaring the credit for the peaceful conduct of the 2014 assembly polls went to Pakistan and Pakistan and PoJK-based terror outfits.
The PDP was the gainer because it made the power-hungry and intellectually bankrupt BJP to fall into its trap. It got from the BJP what the NC could not get from the "secular" Congress. So much so, it got from the BJP plenipotentiary powers - power to facilitate talks between India and Pakistan. In other words, the BJP weakened the Indian Foreign Office to fulfil its lust for power.
Till June 24, everyone in the state and outside believed that the agenda of alliance was the handiwork of BJP general secretary Ram Madhav and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh was not in the loop. However, former CM Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday cleared all the cobwebs of confusion and surprised everyone that it was none other than Home Minister Rajnath Singh who had endorsed the agenda of alliance. "Home Minister Rajnath Singh had endorsed the agenda of alliance," Mehbooba Mufti said to clear the air.
Former CM Mehbooba Mufti's startling revelation came only a few hours after BJP national president Amit Shah launched scathing attack on her government and accused it of being anti-Jammu and anti-Ladakh and a threat to national security.
The statement of Mehbooba Mufti was very significant as it clearly suggested that the vital Union Home Ministry was complicit with the PDP and endorsed an agenda which had the potential of disintegrating India and destroying the non-Muslim minorities in the state.
Mehbooba Mufti not only exposed the whole conspiracy and those hatched it but she also blackened the faces of the BJP ministers by saying that they never ever said that there was discrimination with the people of Jammu and Ladakh. Not just this, she defended the ongoing demographic campaign saying that she direct the concerned officials in the revenue magistracy and police to not disturb or dislocate members of the tribal community from the encroached upon lands.
She didn't stop just here. She loudly defended her undemocratic stand on the CBI probe into the Kathua case, lambasted Lal Singh and CP Ganga for their support to the people of Kathua, who had been on the roads demanding CBI probe and claimed that it was she who ensured the ouster of these two ministers from her ministry. Now that Mehbooba Mufti has made several startling revelations and exposed many in the BJP, it's time for the latter to explain its position. Any failure on its part to do so would simply mean that Mehbooba was right and the BJP was wrong.
