7/3/2018 10:05:59 PM
Early Times Report

Kishtwar, July 3: Taking a strong note on the non compliance of the directions issued by the DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana in the month of May 2018 through CEO Kishtwar regarding detachment of teaching staff, salaries of 67 drawing and disbursing officers have been stopped by DDC Kishtwar.
Early Times in its today's edition highlighted the issue of attachments of Influential teachers and master grades in Kishtwar city schools, it's peripheral schools and institution in the town at the cost of the studies of poor students of rural areas.
However, In compliance to the directions of the DDC, Chief Education officer Kishtwar followed the instructions and issued directions to all the DDOs of education department to detach all the teachers immediately who are working on attachment in several government schools.
Meanwhile, CEO Kishtwar today submitted his report to DDC Kishtwar in which he submitted that "67 DDOs have failed to submit the compliance report despite the fact that all the DDOs of the district were asked to submit the compliance report regarding the detachment of teaching staff in their respective officess/institutions", report of CEO said.
Taking strong note on the non compliance of CEO order , DDC directed to stop the salaries of the sixety seven (67) DDOs who have failed to comply the directions.
"it is very unfortunate and source of deep concern that the DDOs have taken the directions/instructions of the CEO lightly which speaks the volume of non seriousness on behalf of the DDOs which warrents strict action as per rule.
All the DDOs have been directed to explain with in 3 days as to they have not implemented the directions failing which action as warranted under rules shall be initiated against each DDO.
However, taking into cognizance of the non seriousness, the salary of the DDOs who have failed to submit report has been kept withheld with immediate effect till further orders.
