Jammu, July 3: View of making journey more comfortable, Indian Railways on Tuesday introduced'Humsafar' Express between Jammu Tawi and Sealdah in West Bengal. Union Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain flagged off the 'Humsafar Superfast Express', which will run on a weekly basis. The train will depart from Sealdah on Monday and will arrive at Jammu Tawi on Tuesday in every week. In return direction, the superfast express train will run every Wednesday to arrive at Sealdah the next day. While introducing the Humsafar express, the Union Minister said that the trains are lifeline of the country and the Government has been giving special attention to the railways. |
