Jammu, July 13: The 16th Chhari Mubarak Yatra of Mata Chamunda Devi Ji commenced here today from Rameshwar Mandhir, Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu for Sarvadhar, Pogal Paristan, Ramban.
The Chhari Mubarak Yatra was flagged off by MP Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas and was organized under leadership of Kr. Rajeev Charak President BFDC, Baldevraj Nagotra Chairman BFDC, Vice Presidents BFDC Hardesh Khokher, Krishan Lal Sharma & Anuradha Charak. Hundreds of yatris from Jammu participated and thousands from other districts like Ramban, Doda, Bhaderwah, will accompany it for the holy Darshan of Mata Chamunda Ji. Speaking on departure occasion, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that first of all he congratulates the organizers to take initiative to successfully organize such types of yatra every year because in our city of temples, this type of yatra's will be beneficiary at large as it will promotes the message of brotherhood and also develop peace between peoples from different sectors irrespective of religion. Manhas added that he pray God and appeal every citizen of J&K to maintain peace, harmony and brotherhood, so that everybody will live happily. Kr. Rajeev Charak said that presently Governor rule is imposed in our state, so he appealed Governor of J&K N.N. Vohra Ji to assure regular basic necessities like electricity, drinking water and mainly shelter for yatris and also said that it is the largest holy Yatra of District Ramban and it must be develop as tourist and pilgrimage spot. |
