| Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 92 bovine rescued | | | Early Times Report
Ramban, July 14: Police claimed to have foiling a bovine smuggling bid and rescued 92 bovines being smuggled.
Police has laid a surprise naka along Patnitop-Batote road and during checking & frisking two herds of bovine which were found by police.
On seeing the police party, the suspects started fleeing from the spot but they were caught. The accused have been identified as Abdul Hamid S/O Mohd Qasim R/O Munshi Chak Talab Tillo Jammu, Noora Ilahi S/O Chirag Din R/O Gole Gujral Jammu and Zakir Ahmed s/o Mohd shafi R/O Maitra Ramban have been taken into police custody. |
