| MGNREGA Employees appeal Governer to intervene, strike extended till July 17 | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, July 14: MGNREGA Employees appealed J&K Governer to intervene into the matter and frame a legitimate job policy in favour of MGNREGA Employees during the continue strike which entered 6th day here today. They further said that they will extend their strakesh upto July 17 in all the districts of the state till the demands of framing a legitimate job policy in favour of MGNREGA Employees. District president of association Ashfaq Malik said recently government framed a job policy for regularizing the services of all contractual, consolidated, casual and daily rated workers working in various departments but it is very unfortunate that MGNREGA employees were totally ignored.
Hearlier added that they will intensify their strike in coming days and will launch mega protest throughout the state
He also said some of our employees has crossed their upper age limit and they are not able to apply for any job as their future are at stake. |
