| KPs celebrates birthday of Maa Shiva | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: The Kashmiri community of Akingam, Anantnag today celebrated the birthday of Isht Devi in the premises of Puran Baba Samadi Mandir, Bagwati Nagar , Jammu. This auspicious day is being celebrated every year on the Ist day of Ashard Shuklpaksh . The entire biradhari gathered in the temple premises and performed Pooja archana in Kashmiri tradition. Besides large number of devotees thronged to pay obeisance at the lotus feet of MAA and sought blessings. Yellow rice ( Pele chawal) was offered to Maa Shiva after pooja. Hari Kirtan Jagrati Adiyatmik mission elevated to perform Satsang on this pious day. Fire brand Aderni Basant Kumar displayed Bajans along with Aderni Surinder Ji thrilled the audiance with Krishna and Mata Bhawani hyms. Later President Dr. Janki Nath Raina thanked all the participants, Sadaks of Mission Hari Kirtan and all those who made this auspicious day a grand success. |
