Sodhi requests Guv to allot land for educational city | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: S S Sodhi Chairman, J&K Intellectual Civil Society, New Delhi held a meeting with educationists, intellectuals, and all the members of the civil society and discussed with them the benefits of allotment of land for Educational City on the pattern of Rajiv Gandhi Educational City in Sonipat, Haryana, which will go a long way to benefit particularly the students community. He being experienced in the field of education and social work for the last more than 25 years has stated that many states in India have already implemented it on the pattern of Rajiv Gandhi Educational City. The idea was highly appreciated by all the present dignitaries. The chairman also stated that in case the land is allotted like Rajiv Gandhi educational City, Students have not to go anywhere for studies in schools, colleges or universities but they will get all these facilities under one roof, including hostel facility, sports facilities to play games of their choice etc. He also stated by providing facilities under one roof to the students through private entrepreneur, they will save time and money which they waste at present for attending schools, colleges, Universities, hostels or play grounds to play games at different places . Sodhi also appreciated His Excellency for establishing Narayana Hospital at Kakriyal Katra where thousands of people all over J&K states have been benefitted by providing medical facilities and also saved the lives of many serious patients. |
