Handball trainees interact with International Handball Player | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, July 14: Handball trainees of District Coaching Centre Udhampur interacted with former International Handball Player and Coach Indradeo Sharma Retired Senior Coach from Sport Authority of India (SAI). He shared his experience as a Goalkeeper for Indian Handball Team and Services Team. He remains number One Goalkeeper of Indian Handball Team at all international Matches from 1982 to 1990, including IX Asiad Games, etc. During conversation he said that sports help youth to channelize their energy in a positive direction and they can also find their career in the field of sports as a players, coach, teacher, fitness experts, sports managers etc. He continue with the tips and techniques taught to players for performing at all levels in different categories and said " Many players are raw but they have to be nurtured and trained professionally so that they can perform in future tournaments. I want that the guidance and professional tips, I leave behind must be followed honestly by the players for better results," Indradeo Sharma was playing member of Services Team with 11 Gold and One Silver at Senior National Championship. He was a Coach of Indian National Handball Men Team for 1st South Asian Championship, 1996. He also acted as coach for Army Boys for Dogra Regiment Center, Faizabad. In the end Indradeo Sharma was honoured by the Handball Lovers who were present are Ajit Singh, Rohit Khajuria, Sourabh Pandit, Karun Magotra, Ravi Kumar Handball Trainer and Vipin Photra Handball Trainer JKSSC. |
