| 4 gamblers held with Rs 33,500 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: Gangya;l police today arrested four gamblers and recovered Rs 33,500 as stalk money from their possession.
Police spokesman said that today acting on information a raid was conducted by Gangyal police and apprehended four gamblers namely Anoop Singh of Model Town, Jaswinder Singh, Gurnam Singh both residents of Digiana Camp and Amarjeet Singh of Simble Camp from Model Town, Gangyal and recovered Rs. 33,500 as stake money and playing cards from their possession. Police spokesman said that they were booked under 13 Gambling Act and produced in the court of law. The raid was conducted by SHO Gangyal SI Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO City South Mohd Rafiq Manhas and SP City South, Jammu Vinay Kumar. |
