Sajjad Lone to be next CM, claims Cong leader | | | Early Times Report Devsar-Kulgam, July 14: Congress legislator from Devsar assembly segment in South Kashmir on Saturday said that separatist turned mainstream politician Sajjad Gani Lone would be the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a gathering, Congress Legislator Mohammad Amin Bhat claimed, "Fourteen (14) MLAs will quit Peoples Democratic Party and Chief Minister will be Sajjad Gani Lone," Calling PDP 'Papa Dady Party' the Congress MLA leveled serious corruption allegations against the relatives of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. "Yesterday 5 MLAs (legislators who revolted against the former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti) exposed them. This party resorted to loot and introduced corruption in prime institution of the state. An officer was forced to pay Rs 50 Lakh to get posted as director. PDP legislators and minsters minted money during the last three years ," he claimed. Bhat said that he has already demanded a probe into the frauds committed by the previous government. |
