NMC demands release of 7th Pay Commission | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 15: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today demanded the revision of earlier decision by the previous regime allowing the release of 7th Pay Commission arrears in one go to the pensioners of the age group of 80 years and above by facilitating the all groups of pensioners who are facing hardships because of rising prices and inflation. "The of the hour is that discriminatory revision should be re examine to give similar treatment to all pensioners," Shastri said this while addressing a well attended NMC workers meet at Gandhi Nagar in Jammu. While appreciating the sharp decision making policies and delivery of services to the common man of the state for the last three weeks, Shastri described the Governor administration a public friendly in which bold and quick decision has been taken by the Governor dispensation which include addressal of 21 years of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and institution of fast track disposal of regularization of sixty one thousand daily rated workers by the high power committee etc. Describing Governor N.N. Vohra up right learned and strong administrator, Shastri hoped all the pending issues pertaining to salaried/working classes. will be sorted out without any delay adding that political Govt. should learn lesson from the working of the present governor regime. Like State Govt. employees and pensioners another category of employees of public sector undertakings in the state since decades. Though some corporations are viable currently and some are facing financial crises, but the employees working these also need sympathetic consideration in extending them the benefits of the 7 th pay commission recommendations who mostly remain deprived said NMC Chief. |
