Jammu, July 15: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has extended support to the peaceful protest march announced by Teachers Joint Action Committee in Srinagar on July 17. According to press release, a meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held at Jammu under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of the forum to discuss about the preparations and strategy about the peaceful Protest March announced by the Teachers Joint Action Committee (TJAC) from Sher-E-Kashmir Park to Raj Bhawan Srinagar on 17th of July at 11 AM regarding the implementation of 7th Pay Commission to SSA Teachers/ Head Teachers and RMSA Masters and linking of their salaries with State Sector. Ganesh Khajuria stressed upon the teaching fraternity to participate in this Mega and historical protest under the leadership of Abdul Qayoom Wani to press for their genuine demands and rights. All the participants assured the State General Secretary to make this programme a historical one and result- oriented.
