| Department of Rural sanitation conducts awareness Camp | | |

REASI, July 28: The Department of Rural Sanitation district Reasi conducted an awareness camp at block Programme Manager JKSRLM (UMEED) office Pouni, Reasi. The objective of the programmes was to raise awareness and sensitize the masses especially health workers about the importance of keeping the environment clean and open defecation free. The programme was presided by District Programme officer Reasi Pravinder Kour.
While speaking on the occasion, Block Programme Manager JKSRLM (UMEED) Arsheed Ahmad Bhat stressed upon the need to conduct cleanliness and sanitation drives regularly to imitate behavioral change among the people especially the SHG members of Umeed family. He appreciated the role of DPO Reasi as well as BDO Pouni in promoting the Swachh Barat Movement. |
