Jammu, July 28: Defending their position on media reporting regarding misappropriation MGNREGA funds in Block Kalakote, the officials said that not a single penny has been misused in any way.
Officials of Block Development Office, Kalakote said that some vested interests are trying to defame the block. "It is political vendetta, some vested interest people earlier, in past had also spread baseless information through social media", said an official and added that there is record of payments made by the block is available. "There are governments agencies engaged to keep check on the functioning Block, even entire directorate of RDD, and audit on regular basis are being done", they said and added that the Block's officials are being targeted for not falling in lines.
Meanwhile a section of media was also misled by these people to blackmail the official. |
