| Enquiry ordered for Gulbagarh Padder episode | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 28: Four days after massive protest rocks Gulabgarh Padder over denial of chopper facility to Buddhist spiritual leaders, DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today ordered detailed enquiry into the incident which occured during the visit of Buddhist Spiritual Guru His Holiness Gwlang Drupka at Gulabgarh, Padder on 25th of July 2018 causing serious law and order problems.
It is pertinent to mention here that as per flight plan Pawan Hans operators failed to airlift Buddhist Spiritual Guru HH Gwlang Drupka from Padder to Jammu.
As a result of which a large number of Buddhist people including women gathered at one place and started raising anti- administration slogans. Even some angry people resorted to stone pelting at SDM Office building Padder thus causing loss to govt. Property.
DC along with SP Kishtwar had to face a tough time in controlling the angry mob as the mob even held hostage DC Kishtwar for hours together. DC even apologized the agitating people on the behalf of Pawan Hans operators.
Taking strong note with regard to sentiments of public towards their spiritual guru DDC Kishtwar vide office *Order no. DCK/ PS/ 18/1316-17 dated 28.07.2018* has directed SDM Padder to conduct discreet enquiry into the whole matter and has directed him to furnish the enquiry report within ten days time period. |
