SVS DCW Rajouri holds students' election

Rajouri, Sep 14: SVS Degree College for Women Rajouri conducted a fair and smooth election for Class Representatives separately for Arts and Science Streams and Head Girl of the College. All the Students participated in the Election with full zeal and zest and voting was done by Secret Ballot Papers. The election was conducted under the supervision of College Election Committee comprised of Chief Election Commissioner Prof. Haqeeqat Singh Ishar Director of the College and Election Commissioner Dr. Shamshad Ahmad Principal of the college. Prof. Ajaz Ul Haq, Prof. Shazad Mughal and Prof. Suresh Kumar were the presiding Officers for the semesters 1st, 3rd, and 5th respectively. The elected CRs are Maria Tabassum (Sem 1st Arts), Preity Sharma (Sem 1st Science), Nitu Sanwal (Sem 3rd Arts), Sonika Sharma (Sem 3rd Science), Sakshi Sharma (Sem 5th Arts), Rabia Abdul Hamid Khan (Sem 5th Science). Later on Miss Rabia Abdul Hamid Khan was unanimously elected as the Head Girl of the College for the Session 2018-19 by the elected CRs. The results of the Election were declared by the Director of the College Prof. Haqeeqat Singh Ishar in front of all the Staff Members and in the gathering of the Students of the College in the College ground. The students raised the slogans in favour the management, staff and for the supporters.
