| JKDEAJ submits memorandum to Secy PHE, I&FC | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 14: All J&K Diploma Engineers Assistant Jammu led by its President Er. Upinder Singh called on the Secy, PHE, I&FC Department J&K Government at Jal bhawan Jammu and submitted a memorandum of the demands.
The demanded were included Adoption of Punjab pattern for removing the stagnation especially at the level of Junior Engineer, Maintenance of Cadre Strength at the level of AEE & XEN, Enhancement of Fixed TA from Rs. 30/to Rs. 5000/month. While discussing the demands Er. Upinder Singh told that even after rendering 30 years of service, most of the Diploma Engineers were aspiring for the 1st ever Promotion & suggested adoption of Punjab pattern for removing the stagnation where by those who have rendered 10 year service shall be designated as Assistant Engineer. He told even 20% quota earmarked for Diploma Engineers is not being maintained as there is huge shortfall of Diploma Engineers as against the allotted 97 posts at the level of AEE there are only 15 in position and against 22 posts there are only 7 in position. |
