KPC demands quadruplication of J&K | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 23: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has strongly demanded quadruplication of J&K state which included creation of "Separate Kashyap Bhoomi" within the Kashmir Valley for the Kashmiri Pandits. KPC president Kundan Kashmiri while addressing the meeting of his party activists today at New Delhi said that Kashmiri Hindus do not want to live with Kashmiri fundamentalist Muslims, separatists and traitors in valley, who consider Jammu and Ladakh regions as two colonies of Kashmiri Muslims and their people included Kashmiri Pandits not more than slaves. The quadruplication of the State into four parts would limit the area of activities of the Kashmiri Muslim leadership to a vary small part of Kashmir and defeat their ultimate goal: Separation of the entire state of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh from India and its conversion into a theocratic state similar to that of Pakistan, that has no place for the non-believers, and even for Shiite Muslims sects and others, he said. Not only this, the "four-way split" of the state would also adversely impact the Kashmir's economic health. Kashmir has developed and enriched its economy at the cost of Kashmiri Pandits, Jammuites and Ladakhis. Kashmir would turn pauper the moment the state is split into four parts, KPC president further said. Kundan Kashmiri opposed to those Kashmiris who demand self-rule, greater autonomy, Azadi, merger with Pakistan and so on. No one in Jammu and Ladakh and no one in the Kashmiri Pandit community have given power of attorney to the Kashmiri Muslim leadership to take decision on their behalf. |
