SMB launches door to door anti drugs campaign

Ramban, Sept 23: An aim to eradicate drugs menace from the roots besides making a health and crime free society Swadeshi Manch Bharat (SMB) Jammu and Kashmir launched a door to door campaign to intensify anti drugs drive across the region. In Ramban State President SBM, J&K, Neeraj Singh alongwoth SHO Ramban, Vijay Kotwal visited at various medical stores & chemist shops in Ramban to forbid sale of commonly abused drugs, harmful and unsafe drugs and any such stuff.
They impressed upon the owners of medical & chemist stores to come forward to contribute in mission to restrict youth from drugs addictions.
Sabik Rafi, Idrees Sohil, Shakeel Ahmed ,Mohd Mukhtyar, Jeevan Singh, Zahoor Magray, Gohar Bali , Rajinder Singh,Sunil Singh, Karan,Sachin Verma, Davinder, Deepak, Irfan mughal, Gourav jamwal, Bushan ji, Ravinder Singh besides police team comprising Surinder Singh , Satish ,Bishrat, Reyaaz, Mohan Singh took part in the campaign. Neeraj Singh said the purpose of this campaign was to cover all the villages and towns of district Ramban in the next few months so that not only exact feedback could be extracted but also the general public should be motivated to make their contribution in fight against the drugs. While appreciating the role of police said that police now concentrating on getting feedback from the cutting edge level i.e. general public so that the required measures could be put in place to check the drug menace more effectively.
