Nav Adarsh Hr Sec School organizes one act play competition

KATHUA, Oct 1: As a part of its annual activities calendar, Nav Adarsh Higher Secondary School, Kathua today organized an Inter-House Hindi One Act Play competition in order to mark the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
All the four Houses of the school presented Hindi one act plays with thought provoking messages. The themes of the plays ranged from Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Female Foeticide, Principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Women Empowerment. The acting skills of the students generated a thunderous applause from the audience.
The Mystical Nimbles stood 3rd, Brain Toddlers bagged the 2nd spot and The Intellectualists clinched the 1st position. The Marvellous Minds got the consolation prize. The performances were judged by Randhir Katal, a renowned theatre artist and T R Sumbria, famous Hindi poet.
While addressing, Sardar Khan, President School Management Committee appreciated the students for their stellar performance and said that in a well-planned One-Act Play Contest, there are no losers. He also congratulated the In- charge teachers for their efforts in training the students.
