SAMBA, Oct 5: A 4 years old child died due to drowning in an underground water tank at village Khanwal area of samba here today.
According to the sources, the deceased has been identified as Shani Katal 4 years Son of Vicka Singh resident of Village Khanwal Samba got slipped in an underground water tank inside his house while playing as the lid of the tank was open.
On noticing his fall into the water tank, his mother made hue and cry following the neighbors came for help and evicted the boy from water tank in unconscious condition, they immediately shifted him to District Hospital Samba where doctor declared him as brought dead.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance the matter and started investigation. |
