Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 5: One Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) personnel has received minor injury after terrorists hurled a grenade at CRPF in Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, news agency ANI reported on Friday. The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched. However, more details are awaited. On July 28, four security personnel were injured after terrorists hurled a grenade at Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) in Jawbehra area of Awantipora. Following the attack, the injured were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. The incident came after a civilian and one security guard was injured after two terrorists barged into a bank and opened fire in south Kashmir's Kulgam. In recent months, the state has witnessed a stark rise in terror activities. On July 26, five security personnel were injured after terrorists lobbed a grenade at a CRPF bunker in the Bijbehara town of the state. On July 6 also, terrorists threw a grenade at Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) party in Pantha Chowk in Srinagar. In an earlier incident on June 29, militants hurled a grenade towards an Army patrol party in Shopian district. There were no reports of any loss of life. |
