Jammu, Oct 5: 30th District Jammu Volleyball Championship for Boys and Girls concluded here today at Maulana Azad (MA) Stadium. In the final match of the Boys section, the Pallanwala Volleyball Club beat Allah Volleyball Club by sets 3-0 with score 25-21, 25-20 and 25-10 while in the finals of the Girls section Army Children Club beat Trikuta Club by sets 3-1 with score 15-25, 25-15, 25-6 and 25-17. On the final day, Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu was the chief guest while Satish Gupta, Manager MA Stadium Jammu was the guest of honour. Others who were present on the occasion included Kuldip Magotra CEO, RC SHARMA Treasurer of Volleyball Association of J&K, Rajeev Dogra Volleyball Coach SAI, OS Gill, Volleyball Coach of Sports Council Jammu, Master Puran Singh, Joint Secretary of VAJK and Suresh Singh senior player of volleyball. Matches were officiated by Mulkhraj Sharma (VFI qualified Referee) Anil Kumar, Anku Sharma and Pravinder Singh. |
