Jammu, Oct 5: J&K Police pensioners (Non-Gazetted) held strong protest demonstration in support of their demands here today. A large number of retired policemen under the banner of J&K Retired Police NGO & ORS Forum led by Ajit Singh assembled here and started protesting in favour of their long pending demands.
They were demanding removal of pay anomaly.
Ajit Singh, chairman pointed out that in Govt order number 229-F of 2014 dated 17-10-2014 pay anomaly was removed but the matter remained pending before Pay Anomaly Committee. Finance Department sought clarification from DGP regarding pay anomalies of retiree ASIs and Head Constables.
Sukhdev Singh, Mohd Sharif, Hari Singh, Raghubir Singh, Karnail Singh, Mohincler Singh, Ashok Kumar, Kuldeep Singh, Sham Sunder, Karan Singh, Kamal Verma, Diwan Singh, Hardev Singh, Hind Paul, Hoshnak Chand, Ram Lal, Jaswant Singh, Ramneek Singh and Baghel Singh were also present. |
