Akhnoor, Oct 5: Government Degree College (GDC) Akhnoor in collaboration with Life Long Learning Department University of Jammu inaugurated Remedial Coaching Classes for SC, ST, OBC and other minority students. The chief guest of the programme was Principal of the college, Prof. Kuldeep Raj Sharma. Speaking on the occasion Principal of the college highlighted the importance of such coaching classes for the upliftment of needy and poor students and gave information regarding the subjects to be taught in such course i.e. English, Education, EVS and Chemistry. He further added that such classes would benefit students in competitive exam also. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Anil Kumar Asstt. Prof. Dept. of Chemistry and Prof. Sonia Bhau Asstt. Prof. Dept.of Commerce. Among others Prof. Chander Shekhar, Prof.Tarsem Lal, Prof. Jyoti Sharma, Prof. Mamta Sharma and Prof. Sonam Mehta were also present. |
