| AAI Jammu organizes 'Swachchhata Pakhwara' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 12: Airports Authority of India, Jammu alongwith airlines and security agencies carried out a cleanliness drive around the airport on R.S.Pura road and adjoining areas in concluding phase of Swachchhata Pakhwara on the occasion of Birthday of Father of Nation.
Airport Authorities towards their commitment to keep the airport premises and surrounding areas neat clean & environment friendly have observed Swachchhata Pakhwara from 16 September to 2nd October. During this period various activities like door to door interaction with local residents & shopkeepers around the airport to bring awareness towards cleanliness in the vicinity of airport, carrying out special cleanliness drive within airport premises followed by poster making competition by officials of various stakeholders etc were organized at the airport. A special felicitation programme was organized on 2nd October for housekeeping employees working at airport to acknowledge their contribution and encourage them to bring out their best participation in the AAI's endeavor to maintain the best standards of cleanliness in the airport premises. |
