JAMMU, Oct 12: Dussehra, the festival of triumph of good over evil was celebrated at Lord Mahavira Playway School with pomp and show.
This day marks the destruction of Ravana and the victory of Lord Rama and the ten faces of Ravana symbolize the ten types of evils. On the occasion, the kids set to fire a large effigy of Ravana filled with firecrackers, symbolizing the destruction of the evil. Children participated in the programme with religious spirit, gaeity and enthusiasm. The School Vice Principal, Anuradha saraf addressed the students .She said Dussehra is the festival of victory of goodness over evil, light over darkness and happiness over gloom. Singh blessed all the participants and appreciated the spectacular show. All the children were full of joy on the occasion |
