| Protest of FMHWs enters 60th day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 25: The Protest /Dharna of FMHWs of Jammu Division entered 60th day in the premises of DHS Jammu at Shashi Bala Park. The protester FMHW's of 2211 & 2210 Head raised slogans in support of their genuine and long pending demands which are as under delinking the CSS Salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking) and release the pending salary, clear the DPC of FMPHW as LHV etc. since pending last 5 years, job functions of FMPHWs must be fixed at par other working categories of Health Sector. They alleged up-gradation for the post of FMPHW on the analogy of Pharmacist, Lab. Tech. X-Ray Tech, Dental Tech. and Ophth. Tech., creation of post of LHVs in New PHCs, seniority list of FMHWs be published in the Official website of the Health Department for bringing transparency in promotions, 50% quota to be allotted in favor of trained LHVs at par with MMPHSs promoted as Health Educators, Amendment of SRO20 dated 20-04-1992 which is pending in the Administrative Department for the last 27 yrs. While addressing the protester FMPHWs at Shahs' Bala Park Sushil Sudan president JKMEF appeal the Governor Satya Pal Malik for personally intervene. Because the FMPHWs who are permanent employees of health department and they are facing hardship in day to day life.
Their families are suffering badly including their Kids, education because they are not able to pay school dues.
