Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 25: In spite of clear directions from the General Administration Department and Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) to detach all the attached teachers, the Chief Education Officer Samba is continuing ordering attachment spree rather than detachment.
Sources informed Early Times that an influential teacher having original place of posting in Govt Middle School, Sangar of Samba district but given the close proximity with the former Health Minister Davinder Manyal got attachment in Government High School, Khara Madana of Zone Purmandal just fifteen days ago when Model Code of Conduct is imposed in wake of Urban Local Bodies and Panchyat election across the state. "One more teacher whose original place of posting is at Government Primary School, Daghed of zone Purmandal has been attached in ZEO office Purmandal in violation of General Administration Department (GAD)'s order/ circular NO. 22-GAD of 2018 dated 06/07/2018 wherein the concerned additional secretary to the government had directed to all the department that all the employees who were attached in different department should be detached and should be joined his/her parental department by 16/07/2018 but showing thumb to GAD order, the CEO Samba has been failed to take action against the influential teachers", said an teacher while wishing anonymity.
The callousness of CEO Samba can be gauged from this fact that the concerned CEO appointed one librarian at GHS, Khara Mandna where there is no sanctioned post of librarian. However the post of librarian is vacant in Zone Ghagwal but due to proximity with the power corridor, she has succeeded to get attachment where there is no post sanctioned.
"In the same school, GHS, Khara Mandna, one more master is attached since more than two years in violation of above mentioned GAD order, the CEO samba is well aware about it but owing to proximity with politician, he knee down before her", said an teacher. The official said that the order issued by GAD to cancel all attachment was a welcoming step but corrupt officials leave no stone unturned to hoodwink the GAD administration with active connivance of higher officials of the department as all are part of a chain.
