| Locals agitates over defunct water pumping station in Uchad | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Oct 25: Facing the hardships due to water crisis the locals of Uchad in Mendhar of Poonch district are agitated over the officials apathy as the water pumping station is lying defunct for over last two week.
Local said that, the locals alleged that AEE PHE (Mech) paid no heed to their repeated requests about the water scarcity to which they were forced to face for over last two week due to non functioning the water pump in the area.
Meantime expressing concerns over the issue, the Social Worker Er.M R Kazafi has urged AEE PHE (Mech) Poonch to restore the water supply to the affected areas at earliest. He alleged said the department has failed to maintain the motors and other machinery of the water pumps. Local said that the technical sang at water pumping station will be rectified immediately to restore the smooth water supply to the locals. |
