JAMMU, Oct 25: Jammu Sanskriti School bagged IIIrd Position along with the Cash Prize of Rs.6000 and Certificates in the Jammu District Kho-Kho Championship (under 17yrs boys) under KHELO INDIA SCHEME. The Championship was conducted by the J&K State Kho-Kho Associaation at Green Play Field, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
The Participants of the Kho-Kho team were Abhay Jangral (9th A), Taran Salaria (9th B), Vikas Bhagat (9th A), Kartik Sharma (9th B), Harish Saini (8th A), Jatin Sharma (8th A), Nishant Saini (10th A), Amit Jamwal (10th A), Aryan Dutt(10th A), Dheeraj Kumar (10th A), Kashish Khajuria(10th B) and Paras Sharma (10th B). It is pertinent to mention here that Nishant Saini of Class 10th A is also selected for State level Kho-Kho Championship. The sincere efforts were put by coach Ravinder Singh and Tarmeet Raina for this achievement of theirs. Principal cum Vice-Chairperson Rohini Aima congratulated and applauded the students and their coach Ravinder Singh for the excellent performance and asserted that any award is a collaborative effort which boosts the morale for becoming better than yesterday. |
