Jammu, Oct 25: NAGRAD Adbi Sangam Jammu conducted a programme in memory of late J.L.Saroor a great poet at K.L. Sehgal Hall Jammu. A galaxy of poets and literary persons and family members of Saroor participated in the programme in which light was thrown on the literary contributions of late Saroor Sahib. The presidium in the first session was shared by R.L.Shant,Dr.Aman,A.K.Naz,Aseer Kishtwari and Ramesh Hangloo. Shant Sahab presided over the function. Dr Arvind Singh was the chief guest .Ramesh Hangloo and Aseer Kishtwari were the guests of honour. Welcome address was presented by A.K. Naz. The papers on the literary contributions of late Saroor sahib were read by Autar Hugami, P.N. Shad and Rajinder Agosh. The Second session was that of Mushaira in which a number of poets recited their poems as a mark of respect to late Saroor Sahib. The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Vijay Wali.
