Samba, Nov 1: Khelo India, Samba district Under-17 age group Weightlifting Completion organized by J&K Weight Lifting Association in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council was concluded with great pomp and show at Smailpur Ground Stadium on 30-10-2018 to 31-10-2018 in the presence of Chief Guest S. S. Gill Retd. SP BSF and General Secretary Cycling Association, Sardar Harbhajan singh (President Weightlifting Association), Inderpal Singh (Coach), Dhanraj Singh (Coach), Dinesh Pathania (Coach), Dayal Singh (Coach) and Jangveer Singh (Organizing Secretary District Samba).
After a long time 06 women lifter are appear on the platform but unfortunately only 03 women are successful. It is a great achievement in Samba District without any guidance.
Medal, Consolation prizes and Participation Certificates were distributed by the Chief Guest S. S. Gill.
The winners were including 58 Kg Category (women) Shazia Begum , 69 Kg Category (women) Sushmita Shee, 50 Kg Category (Men) Keshav Kumar, 56 Kg Category (Men) Nikhil Lalotra , 62 Kg Category (Men) Vishal Dandia, 69 Kg Category (Men) vishal Singh, 77 Kg Category (Men) MukhtiarAli, 56 Kg Category (Men) Nikhil Lalotra, 85 Kg Category (Men) Nikhil Sharma, 94 Kg Category (Men) Shabir Ahmed, 94+ Kg Category (Men) Namandeep Singh. |
