| Minor student commit suicide | | |  Early Times Report
Billawar, Nov 1: Mystery shrouded the death of a minor student, who allegedly hanged himself at his residence in village Banhod of tehsil Billawar.
The deceased has been identified as Vasu Jandial (14) a resident of village Banhod of Kathua district. He was studying in class 9th at Convent School Phinter.
Demanding immediate arrest of School management, kins of deceased and villagers of Banhod kept the dead body of Vasu on road and blocked Dhar road near Ganheer Babli. The protesters alleged that the school management had suspended the Vasu for ten days, four days back and depressed over his suspension, he committed suicide.
Speaker Legislative assemble and MLA Billawer Dr Nirmal Singh reached the spot and talked to protestors. On the demand of protestors he talked telephonically to DIG Jammu Kathua Range and instructed him to set up a special investigation team (SIT) and arrested the culprits who so ever found guilty. The protestors lifted the blockade after an hour after the assurance of the Speaker. |
