| CEO Poonch Municipality visits Ward No 4 | | |  Early Times Report
POONCH, Nov 1: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Municipality Poonch visited ward number 4 and took stock of problems. Councillor of ward number 4 Imtiaz Salaria along with residents apprised Chief Executive Officer about problems faced by residents. Councillor submitted that there is no dustbin in sight and due to which huge garbage is lying in Chowk which is source of many ailments for residents. There is no street light despite busy Chowk and roads leading to District Hospital Poonch due to which pedestrian faces problem during night. Drains on hospital roads are uncovered thus spreading communicable diseases which should be covered on priority basis. Drainage system is poor and source of many diseases like recent epidemic of hepatitis among people. CEO ensured residents that new dustbin shall be placed on priority basis while arrangement of street lights and covering of drains shall be completed in time bound manner. |
