JAMMU, Nov 1: Demanding the right to self determination and justice to the families of victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots throughout India in general and Reasi, Talwara, Jyotipuram, Ser Manjila Tehsil Ramnagar, J&K in particular, various Sikh Organizations led by the Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Sangat held a protest march today. Carrying out the remembrance, the march started from Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Chand Kour Jammu which was participated by Parvinder Singh, president of Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Sangat, Jasarath Khan Rashtriya Muslim Morcha, BAMCEF, Ranjeet Singh Sikh Morcha, BAMCEF/ United Sikh Council J&K, Choudhary Hanef Bahujan Samajwadi Party, Molana Shah Mohammed Choudhary Bhartiya Baichara, RD Thapa, Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan, Anil Kumar Yuva Bhim Sena, Molana Mohammed Azmal Choudhary Coordination Committee Communal Harmony, Comrade Sukhdev Singh, Tejinder Singh, Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman) Sikh Youth Sewa Trust and others. While speaking on the occasion, the participants blamed the state as well as central Government for not giving justice after 34 years of Sikh genocide in which more than 5000 innocent killings of Sikhs were committed in the entire country at that time. |
