Kathua, Nov 1: A 25-year-old youth has been booked for sexually harassing a 7-year-old girl here at Hatli Morh, Kathua.
Police said that the accused has been booked in case FIR number 8/2018 under sections 323, 343 and 452 of RPC and 8/12 of the POSCO Act after the parents of the victim lodged a written complaint with police on October 31.
They said that the incident happened the previous week when the accused found the girl alone at her house and committed the crime with her, but a complaint by her parents was lodged on October 31.
Police have taken up further investigation into the case. As per police, the accused is differently abled. |
