| GDC Thannamandi organizes Extension Lecture | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 22: Department of Islamic Studies, Government Degree College Thannamandi organized Extension Lecture on Sirat Un Nabi. Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function. In the programme, Dr. Sami-Ullah (HOD Islamic Studies) gave an extension lecture on Sirat Ul Nabi in connection with Eid-Ul-Milad-Ul-Nabi celebrations. In the Lecture, he told about the ultimate mission of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and also focused on several aspects fof the sirah for reformation of the society. The event was attended by students and faculty members. Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the College Prof. (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina highlighted some aspects of Sirat of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and told the students to follow the sunnah nabvi in true sense and abide by the values of peace and non violence preached by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). The programme was compared by Prof. Rizwan Ahmed Khan. |
