| NYKS organizes tour for volunteers | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 22: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan under ministry of youth affairs and sports,Govt of India arranged a local tour for its volunteers to apprise them of history of Jammu city and adjoining places.
All the 100 youth volunteers, 50 from Jammu and Kashmir and 50 from Tamil Naidu alongwith management staff reached at Pepsi plant and Priya Biscuit factory Bari Brahmna where they saw production process where factory manager gave a brief lecture. The group then proceeded to Balidaan sithmbh where youth commemorate the supreme sacrifice of war heros.
Bage Bahu Park remained quite exciting for visiting youth who enjoyed a lot and clicked off pictures for personal memory. On this occasion the story of raja jambolochan was narrated to them that how Jaambhu city was founded, centuries back when he found a lion and goat drinking water together. Finally, the team went to Amar Mahal and Manda Zoo and came back Nagrota youth camp. Lunch and tea also served to them. Out stationed youth termed the tour full of knowledge? |
